Free Internet @ Wish
Wish Cafe is now offering free and unlimited WI FI Internet connection to its customers. The eatry at the corner of 2nd Avenue and 7th Street in Melville, formerly know as Spiro's and the Orange Acorn, is under the new management of Ebrahim Asmal (owner of Six Bar and Restaurant located around the corner), and has been renovated with new shop fittings, menu and decor. It offers an all day menu of breakfasts, light lunches, dinner and an expertly made, decent cup of coffee for R9.00. Asmal says he envisions the place as a neighborhood hangout where one can come to read the newspapers, work on a laptop or hold a business meeting/break from the office, without breaking the bank. Most days Asmal himself can be seen sitting on one of Wish's overstuffed couches with piles of papers on the side, surfing the web on his giant Mac screen.
