Metro Police officers were at the centre for lunch and responded to the scene immediately, the suspects who were driving an old green Honda managed to escape; it is unclear if any if any of the suspects were injured, as a bullet went through the window of their vehicle.

Six shots were fired police and Metro officers marked the positions of the bullets and waited for the forensics department to arrive to investigate the shooting and take the bullets and shells for investigation.
